Others Around Us

The fact of us being multiple definitely has an impact on the people around us. Our partner Amanda has been a tower of strength through some very difficult days. There are times when she's taken so much crap from us and really calmed us down. She is wonderful. Especially so when we went through a really difficult time with our motherş, whose own issues are considerable and would be worthy of a web site of their own.

People around us who are not quite as close and don't know that we are multiple find us to be confusing. They will wonder why what they perceive to be one person can have such bizarre inconsistencies when it comes to opinions, interests and such like. They might wonder, for example why we support several football teams, why we are a born again Christian who celebrates pagan feasts or why we are socialist, but vote conservative in elections!
