Retro Computing

We have been into computers since we got our first one at the tender age of about ten. This was a Sinclair ZX81. Our uncle had one before us and we thought that it was incredible.

Over the years we had various Sinclair machines as well as Acorns, a Toshiba MSX and a Texas Instruments TI99/4A which was an ugly looking thing but was blessed with a really nice keyboard at a time when many keyboards were bit naff. Many more were just terrible.

We have a few real machines still, but can emulate many more on our PC and Laptop computers. With some really good emulators it is hard to tell whether you were using the real thing or not. We use Risc OS on a daily basis on an emulated Acorn Risc PC. This web site was created and is maintained on this.
